The cover art is sexy, intriguing, exciting... and the words written inside amplify it by 100%!!!! One of the best parts!? I'm not sure I have read an urban fantasy with a central f/f relationship and I need more of this series immediately. It's action-packed, emotional, and genuinely scary, with themes of family secrets, small town intrigue, and healing individual and generational trauma. The antagonist is deeply frightening, hunter Dani is a delight, and powerful medium Emilie's story of facing up to her family's dysfunctional attempts to protect her really moved me. If you loved Supernatural but wanted more from it when it came to its female and/or queer-coded characters, pick this one up immediately. Knife wives forever!
